In 1993 Daniel “George” Cain, Steven “D.” Wilson and Steven “Alan” Frank (ie. George D. Alan) combined their waterproofing, construction and business experience to form The George D. Alan Company. The three veterans of the waterproofing industry simply wanted to focus on developing a waterproofing company that concentrated on providing superior customer service, with a highly motivated team in a well-designed business environment.
The same spirit of teamwork lives on today with additions to the ownership group that allow us to maintain and grow strong leadership. This focus has helped our group of companies grow and expand into Austin, Houston, Oklahoma City and Albuquerque. With a staff of over 100 people serving Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Arizona and Colorado, we are continuing to build on our success.

As a service company, the performance of our people is not just an asset, it is everything. We must be properly trained, competent, confident and comfortable in order to perform well. Our people are outfitted and trained with more installation and personal protective equipment than any other firm in our industry. In addition to pre/post-employment health and drug screening, technical training, testing and weekly safety training, our staff receives product and installation knowledge that gives us an advantage in utilizing developing technologies.

The basic principles that continue to guide the company are simple: We put our customers concerns first. Without the high quality of our customers, we have nothing. We select our customers from the top commercial construction firms in the country. We target quality companies with high expectations and solid values.
Our employees are second only to our customers. We deliver our service through our people. In order to provide our customers the best service, we have to have the best people. We take great care to keep our people trained, safe, happy, and challenged.
The continued success of our suppliers only reinforces our ability to continually provide the best materials and equipment on your projects. We work to make these companies successful.
