Sealants are the most widely used waterproofing materials. Sealants are applied from below grade to roof areas and act as a direct waterproofing barrier. Sealants are also used to prevent air infiltration into and out of buildings. The majority of a building envelope requires some form of sealant for weather tightness and to allow for structural or thermal movement and to maintain the building envelope effectiveness. Some of the various types of sealants installed by our companies include:
- Silicone
- Urethanes
- Latex
- Polysulfide
- Epoxies
- Neoprenes/EPDM/Butyl Rubber
- Pre-compressed foams
- Expansion Joint Assemblies
